WFP Protect filter for the Quadro 120 (set of 4 pieces)
The Carbonit WFP Protect filter cartridge is a sintered activated carbon block filter with special dimensions. It can only be used in Carbonit QUADRO 120 filter systems. This sintered activated carbon block filter focuses on the chemical and physical removal and simple mechanical removal of unwanted particles in drinking water.
Bacteria are not a concern with this filter because it is designed to quickly process large volumes of water without the need for a bacteriological barrier.
The filter cartridges should be changed (according to DIN 1988) every 6 months. In principle, 10,000 liters of water should be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An earlier replacement is not a defect of the used water filters, but a sign of the increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
Replacing the filter in the QUADRO always requires 4 pieces of Carbonit WFP Protect filter cartridges!
