Carbonit WFP Protect replacement filter for the Quadro 120.
The Carbonit WFP Protect filter cartridge is a sintered activated carbon block filter with special dimensions. It can be used only in Carbonit QUADRO 120 filter systems. This sinteredactivatedcarbon block filter focused on the chemical and physical removal and simple mechanical particle removal of unwanted components in drinking water. There is no bacteriological barrier sought through the finest filter pores, because you want to work with large amounts of water in a short time. The filter cartridges need to be changed (according to DIN 1988) at 6 months. Basically, 10,000 liters of water must be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. Earlier replacement is no defect of the water filters used, but a sign of the increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
