Aqualine 18 glass

The capacity of the lower tank (where the filtered water enters) is 11.3 liters. Since there is also a filter and stones in this tank and the tap is not attached all the way to the bottom of the tanks, about 9.8 liters can be tapped out here. This our largest model. It is suitable for families with more than 3 people who want to drink from it and cook with it. For 1 and 2 person households we recommend the Aqualine 5. The capacity of 5 liters is enough to drink water daily and to make coffee and tea with it. For 2 and 3 person households or for people who also want to cook with the filtered water, the Aqualine 12/Neos is a better choice.

Aqualine 18 water filter - The benefits

• Glass collection tank
  The beautiful glass collection tank of this Aqualine 18 is handcrafted in a traditional glassworks in South Korea. The blue glass is meant to filter UV light. The glass is clear, looks beautiful and is easy to clean. Because the tank is mouth-blown, each tank is unique and there may be blemishes.
• Excellent filtration
  Comprehensive filtration through a ceramic pre-filter (0.2 microns) and a multi-step filter. As a result, microplastics, GenX, PFAS, heavy metals, drug residues, pesticides, chlorine and hormone residues, among others, are filtered out of the water by an average of more than 99%.
• Various configurations possible:
  When ordering, you must choose from the following configurations (a ceramic filter is supplied with each configuration):
  
  pH neutral
  Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter. This version makes the water pH neutral with a pH of about 7.5. This version does not make the water alkaline
  
  Alkaline
  Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter + a pH ring. The pH ring has an antioxidant action and raises the pH by 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water
  
  Redox
  Consists of a Redox multistep filter(without pH ring). The Redox filter has an antioxidant action and raises the pH by 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water.
• Alkaline or Redox
  If you want to drink alkaline/basic water you have a choice between the Alkaline or the Redox version. Both versions have an antioxidant effect and raise the pH of the water by 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water. With the alkaline version, this is done by the separate pH ring that comes on the bottom of the bottom tank. This ring can be taken out if necessary if your choice of alkaline or pH neutral changes. The ring has nothing else to do with filtering. With the Redox version, this is done by the filter. Aqualine 18 - Technology

In nature, mineral-rich water is created as rainwater slowly percolates through various layers of soil. As a result, it is filtered and absorbs minerals and trace elements. Aqualine water filtration systems also work according to this principle.

• Nature
  By using gravity, the filtering process in the Aqualine system mimics nature. Thus, no electricity is needed! There is no waste water as with reverse osmosis or ionizers.
• Superior in filtration
  The Aqualine systems are proven to be able to filter up to 99% of contaminants from the water (click here for the laboratory test report). The performance level of the Aqualine systems are therefore comparable or even superior to the filtration in most other water systems that cost up to ten times the price and also require electricity. Turns tap, rain (barrel), river or ditch water into clear and healthy drinking water.
• Calamities
  With this Aqualine system, you can turn rain or ditch water into drinking water, which is why these devices are very suitable in emergencies.

How it works

1st stage - the ceramic filter

This filter is located in the filling tank and has a fineness of 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter you already remove much of the contamination from the water including bacteria, undissolved calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then trickles into the multi-step filter.

2nd step - the multi-step filter

You have a choice between the pH neutral or the Redox filter.

pH neutral filter

1st layer
High quality silver impregnated activated carbon type 30X60 with high uptake.

2nd layer
Zeolite pellets. Environmentally friendly pellets with high adsorption value, filters chlorine compounds such as trihalomethane from the water and various heavy metals, softens the water.

3rd layer
Silica and combo beads. The balls are a combination of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite and Kaolin. They have a redox function and anti-bacteriological effect.

4th layer
Illite combo balls. Emit a far infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency vibrates in the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates and increases micro blood circulation. They soften the water to a pH of about 7.5. Furthermore, they also have an anti-bacteriological effect.

Redox filter

The Redox filter contains a combination of activated carbon, with silver impregnated activated carbon, zeolite, silica sand, magnesium and bio ceramic beads. The magnesium and bio ceramic beads raise the pH of the filtered water by an average of 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water and lower the ORP value. This gives the water a strong antioxidant effect.

Both filters remove odors, tastes, chemicals, carcinogens, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, hormone and drug residues, THMs (TriHaloMethane) removed.

3rd step - making it alkaline/basic

All versions remove the same amount of contaminants from the water.

With the Redox filter, the filter makes the water alkaline. No pH ring is supplied with this.

If you choose the alkaline combination, you will receive a pH ring with the pH neutral filter. With the alkaline combination, the pH of the water is increased by the pH ring provided.

The pH ring is filled with magnetite beads, tourmaline beads, alkaline beads and magnesium beads. The Redox filter and ring increase the pH value of the filtered water by an average of 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water.

4th step - mineralizing

During the extensive filtering process, some of the minerals are filtered out of the water. In the lower tank are Elvan mineral stones. A special volcanic rock which only occurs in a few places on our earth. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine/AQV systems come from South Korea. These porous stones contain 18 different minerals that are slowly released into the filtered water. The amounts released in the process are similar to the minerals found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver. This allows no bacterial action to take place in the stagnant water. This allows the water to keep for weeks.

5th stage - vitalizing

Vitalization is a special process that mimics nature. Water in nature will never move in a straight line like our drinking water is pumped through pipes. The water in nature meets a stone or another uneven river, falls down a waterfall or is propelled through a bend. In this process, the water is put into a vortex where the water molecules (H2O) are given a nice structure by hydrogen bonds. The magnetic tap contains 4 different magnets of 1200 Gauss. The plus and minus of these magnets lie alternately. This creates a vortex similar to what happens in nature. Due to the magnetic action, smaller clusters of the water molecules are created.

Vitalization is a process commonly used in horticulture. Without adding or removing any substance, the vitalized water has a beneficial effect on plant growth.
