The Aqualine 18 water filter contains the following components:
- Aqualine 18
- Ceramic filter
- Multi-step filter pH neutral
- pH ring if alkaline version is chosen
- approx. 1,000 gr Elvan mineral stones
- approx. 350 gr silver impregnated Elvan mineral stones
- Upper (plastic) filler tank: 1.5 gallons (about 5.4 liters)
- Lower (glass) storage tank: 3 gallons (about 11.3 liters)
*This refers to the contents of the tanks excluding filters and/or stones.
In the upper tank you pour unfiltered water, which is slowly filtered and then goes into the lower storage tank. Be sure not to add more water than the capacity of the storage tank allows.

When ordering, you must choose from the following configurations (a ceramic filter is included with each configuration):
pH neutral
Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter. This version makes the water pH neutral with a pH of about 7.5. This version does not make the water alkaline
Alkaline
Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter + a pH ring. The pH ring has an antioxidant action and raises the pH by 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water

The beautiful glass collection tank of this Aqualine 18 is handcrafted in a traditional glassworks in South Korea. The blue glass is meant to filter UV light. The glass is clear, looks beautiful and is easy to clean. Because the tank is mouth-blown, each tank is unique and there may be blemishes.
Comprehensive filtration through a ceramic pre-filter (0.2 microns) and a multi-step filter. As a result, microplastics, GenX, PFAS, heavy metals, drug residues, pesticides, chlorine and hormone residues, among others, are filtered out of the water by an average of more than 99%.

The technology of Aqualine 18 glass
In nature, mineral-rich water is created as rainwater slowly percolates through various layers of soil. As a result, it is filtered and absorbs minerals and trace elements. Aqualine water filtration systems also work according to this principle.

By using gravity, the filtering process in the Aqualine system mimics nature. Thus, no electricity is needed! There is no waste water as with reverse osmosis or ionizers. - Superior in filtration

The ceramic filter
This water filter sits in the fill tank and has a fineness of 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter, you already remove much of the contamination from the water including bacteria, undissolved calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then trickles into the multi-step filter.
The multi-step filter
The multi-stage filter is always pH-neutral. If you choose the alkaline combination, you will receive a pH-neutral multi-stage filter plus a separate pH ring that raises the pH of the water.
1st coat: High-performance silver-impregnated activated carbon type 30X60 with high uptake.
2nd layer: Zeolite pellets. Environmentally friendly pellets with high adsorption value, filters chlorine compounds such as trihalomethane from the water and various heavy metals, softens the water.
3rd layer: Silica and combo beads. The balls are a combination of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite and Kaolin. They have a redox function and anti-bacteriological effect.
4th layer: Illite combo balls. Emit a far infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency vibrates in the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates and increases micro blood circulation. They soften the water to a pH of about 7.5. Furthermore, they also have an anti-bacteriological effect.
The filter removes odors, tastes, PFAS, microplastics, chemicals, carcinogens, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, hormone and medication residues, and THMs (trihalomethanes).
Making it alkaline/basic
If you choose the alkaline combination, you will receive a pH ring along with the pH-neutral filter. With this combination, the pH of the water is raised by the pH ring.
The pH ring is filled with magnetite beads, tourmaline beads, alkaline beads, and magnesium beads. This ring raises the pH level of the filtered water by an average of 1–1.5 pH units, making it slightly alkaline, and lowers the ORP value.

Mineralizing
During the extensive filtration process, a small portion of the minerals is filtered out of the water. The lower tank contains Elvan mineral stones—a unique volcanic rock found in only a few places on Earth. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine systems come from South Korea. These porous stones can contain up to 18 different minerals and trace elements, which are slowly released into the filtered water. The amounts released in this process are comparable to the minerals found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver. This prevents bacterial growth in the stagnant water, allowing the water to remain fresh for weeks.
Vitalizing
Vitalization is a unique process that mimics nature. In nature, water never flows in a straight line the way our drinking water is pumped through pipes. In nature, water encounters a rock or another uneven surface in a river, cascades down a waterfall, or is forced through a bend. This causes the water to form a vortex, in which the water molecules (H₂O) take on a beautiful structure through hydrogen bonding. The magnetic faucet contains four different 1,200-gauss magnets. The positive and negative poles of these magnets are arranged alternately. This creates a vortex similar to what occurs in nature. The magnetic field causes the water molecules to form smaller clusters. The Bovis value is increased to 9,250.
Vitalization is a process commonly used in horticulture. Without adding or removing any substance, the vitalized water has a beneficial effect on plant growth.
