This sponge filter fits the Aqualine Water Cooler and several of Nikken's piMag water systems. This filter does not fit in the Aqualine 5, 12, 18 and Neos.
The sponge filter has an orifice of 1 micron and is suitable in Water Cooler that are used frequently. This filter filters about 5 liters per hour. If you also want a filter that filters drug residues from the water then you should choose a ceramic filter. This filter has an orifice of 0.2 microns and filters about 1 to 1.5 liters per hour.
The sponge filter should be replaced annually or after 2,000 liters (Dutch) of tap water.
