Complete set of Aqualine 18 Redox with Mineral stones
This annual set is for those customers who have an Aqualine 18/CM 101 water filter system.
The set comes with a ceramic filter, a white Redox multi-step filter and a set of mineral stones.
Order this set every 3 years when, in addition to the filters, the mineral stones need to be replaced.
With the additional addition of magnesium and bio-ceramic granules to the Redox filter, this filter increases the pH of the water by 1 - 1.5 points to slightly alkaline water. Furthermore, this filter lowers the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) where the filtered water gains antioxidant activity.
With the alkaline combination, the pH is raised by the loose pH ring. This ring is placed on the bottom of the collection tank. With the Redox filter, the pH is raised by the filter.
Change the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer recommends changing the filter after 1 year. In Germany it is required by law to change filters containing carbon every six months.
Part of the filter consists of activated carbon. This is a natural product. If the carbon is completely saturated with the pollutant then it no longer absorbs anything and will release the pollutant after a period of time. This moment cannot be determined exactly. Therefore the advice is to replace the filter at least after 1 year.
Worried about bacteria forming in the filtered water? No need to be! Because some of the mineral stones are impregnated with silver, bacterial activity in the water is prevented. The filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system thus remains good for weeks.
