The Aqualine 12 glass water filter contains the following components:
- Aqualine 12
- Ceramic filter

The water filtration system consists of two tanks, each with its own capacity:
- Upper (plastic) filling tank: 4 liters
- Lower (glass) storage tank: 8 liters
*This refers to the contents of the tanks excluding filters and/or stones.
In the upper tank you pour unfiltered water, which is slowly filtered and then goes into the lower storage tank. Be sure not to add more water than the capacity of the storage tank allows.

The benefits of Aqualine 12 - glass
The beautiful glass collection tank of this Aqualine 12 is handcrafted in a traditional glassworks in South Korea. The blue glass is designed to filter UV light. The glass is clear, looks beautiful and is easy to clean. Because the tank is blown by mouth, each tank is unique and bumps may be present.
Extensive filtration using a ceramic pre-filter (0.2 microns) and a multi-stage filter. This removes up to 99.9% of microplastics, GenX, PFAS, heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, pesticides, chlorine, and hormone residues from the water.
When placing your order, you can choose between an alkaline or pH-neutral version. With the alkaline version, the pH of the filtered water is raised by 1–1.5 pH units to make it slightly alkaline. With the pH-neutral version (€10 cheaper), the filtered water is pH-neutral, at around 7.5.

The technology of Aqualine 12 - glass
In nature, mineral-rich water is created as rainwater slowly percolates through various layers of soil. As a result, it is filtered and absorbs minerals and trace elements. Aqualine water filtration systems also work according to this principle.

By using gravity, the filtering process in the Aqualine system mimics nature. Thus, no electricity is needed! - Superior in filtration
Aqualine systems are proven to be able to filter up to 99% of contaminants from water. The performance level of Aqualine systems is therefore comparable or even superior to filtration in most other water systems that cost up to ten times the price and also require electricity. Through the Elvan mineral stones, water is mineralized with various minerals naturally present in water. - Vitalizing
The four 1,200-gauss magnets in the faucet cause the water to swirl in the same way it does in nature. This is a physical process (the Schauberger principle) that vitalizes the water and raises the Bovis value to 9,250. Vitalizing is used on a large scale in horticulture, for example. The swirling of the water alone is enough to produce better harvests.

The ceramic filter
This water filter sits in the fill tank and has a fineness of 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter, you already remove much of the contamination from the water including bacteria, undissolved calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then trickles into the multi-step filter.
The new generation multi-step filter
The composition of this new generation multi-step filter was developed especially for Aqualine products.
1st coat
High quality silver impregnated activated carbon type 30X60 with high uptake.
(Most common is type 20X40 with larger grain and less uptake).
2nd layer
Zeolite pellets. Environmentally friendly pellets with high adsorption value, filters chlorine compounds such as trihalomethane from the water and various heavy metals, softens the water.
3rd layer
Silica and combo beads. The balls are a combination of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite and Kaolin. They have a redox function and anti-bacteriological effect.
4th layer
Illite combo balls. Emit a far infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency vibrates in the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, stimulates and increases micro blood circulation. They soften the water to a pH of about 7.5. Furthermore, they also have an anti-bacteriological effect.
5th layer
Clay pellets. They increase oxygen uptake in the blood and improve metabolism.
Making it alkaline/basic with the pH ring
When you order, this is a choice. If you choose the alkaline version, the system comes with a pH ring. This ring is filled with magnetite beads, tourmaline beads, alkaline beads and magnesium beads. The ring increases the pH of the filtered water by an average of 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water. So how high the pH of the water becomes depends on your tap water.

Mineralizing
During the extensive filtering process, some of the minerals are filtered out of the water. In the lower tank are Elvan mineral stones. A special volcanic rock which only occurs in a few places on our earth. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine systems come from South Korea. These porous stones contain 18 different minerals that are slowly released into the filtered water. The amounts released in the process are similar to the minerals found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver. This allows no bacterial action to take place in the stagnant water. This allows the water to keep for weeks.
Vitalizing
Vitalization is a unique process that mimics nature. In nature, water never flows in a straight line the way our drinking water is pumped through pipes. In nature, water encounters a rock or another uneven surface in a river, falls down a waterfall, or is forced through a bend. This causes the water to swirl, giving the water molecules (H₂O) a beautiful structure through hydrogen bonding. The magnetic faucet contains four different 1,200-gauss magnets. The positive and negative poles of these magnets are arranged alternately. This creates a vortex similar to what occurs in nature. The magnetic field causes the water molecules to form smaller clusters. The Bovis value is increased to 9,250.
Vitalization is a process commonly used in horticulture. Without adding or removing any substance, the vitalized water has a beneficial effect on plant growth.
