This annual set is for customers who have an Aqualine 18/CM 101 with loose mineral stones.
This annual set comes with a ceramic filter, the new (transparent)multi-step filter and a pH ring.
The pH ring increases the pH of filtered water by 1 - 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water. Furthermore, the pH ring lowers the ORP value (oxidation reduction potential) giving it a strong antioxidant effect.
Change the filter after 2,000 liters if you filter more than 6 liters per day. If you filter less than 6 liters of water per day, the manufacturer recommends changing the filter after 1 year. In Germany it is required by law to change filters containing carbon every six months.
Part of the filter consists of activated carbon. This is a natural product. If the carbon is completely saturated with the pollutant then it no longer absorbs anything and will release the pollutant after a period of time. This moment cannot be determined exactly. Therefore the advice is to replace the filter at least after 1 year.
Worried about bacteria forming in the filtered water? No need to be! Because some of the mineral stones are impregnated with silver, bacterial activity in the water is prevented. The filtered water in your Aqualine 18 system thus remains good for weeks.
